“W3C Markup Validator now supports HTML 5”

  1. The W3C’s validator doesn’t actually support (X)HTML5 just yet, it’s still in the testing process. Since the HTML5 specification and HTML5 conformance testing is quite different to previous W3C specs there are still a few bugs to be sorted out. I’d recommend that people keep using the Validator.nu service for the mean time.
